When I first started this internship in the middle of this crazy and turbulent time I had no idea what to expect and what it would be like. Over the past few years, I have had the opportunity to intern at churches and ministry to help spared the message of the Gospel to all kinds of people both young and old. These other internships had there ups and downs but none of them were like this one at Pulse. Pulse gave has given me so much over the last three months and there is nowhere else that I would have rather have been. God showed me that through his spirit, anything is possible, including reaching thousands of people when so many people on locked inside their homes. Working with this team has been so rewarding, our leaders have been strong, flexible, humble, and wise, and this team of interns has been one of the most talented and gifted I have ever seen. I am so thankful to the Pulse team and my prayer is that this internship will grow and expand and that more people will recognize it as the true, world-class internship that it already is.

This week was another busy week for me and my video partner Ben. On the docket for this week was another Revival Nights that would be conducted live and in-person with just
one 50 people at the event to comply with COVID-19 restrictions instead of the regular 100 or 200. We got an opportunity to invite our friends to this event in order to have an audience of the webcast for the livestream. Revival Nights are incredibly impactful and filled with the Spirit and even though this was a smaller event. It was a magnificent evening filled with the Holy Spirit and God was at work. Several people told their testimony about how God has changed their lives. My partner and I got the chance to film it and it was an incredible experience that we got to capture, even though we had to stay off to the side and be almost like outside observers, we still felt the Spirit move. Having the opportunity to share this event online for many more people to experience was an incredible opportunity and I thank God for what He is doing through me and my team at this time.

I first found Pulse through a friend of mine who was interning there. He would spend time telling stories about the internship and how special it was for him. After hearing that, I knew that this was something that I wanted to be a part of. I applied and thankfully got an interview. Once my interview was over, I was told that there were over 50 applicants! Once I heard this, I did not think that I would be accepted into the program. However, one day later, I received an email telling me that I had been accepted! Now that I am in the program I have been blessed by so many people and experiences. God is so good and I can’t wait to see what He has in store throughout the summer.
Now that I have been at Pulse for the past few weeks, it has already been an amazingly rewarding experience. The camaraderie between all of the interns is so evident every time we get together. We grew even closer on our testimony night where each of us shared our stories and spent some time praying for one another. It was an incredible time of healing for everyone and it set the stage for the rest of the summer. Even though we have started mostly online, we have been able to accomplish many projects and further the mission of Pulse through a digital format. As a creative person, it has been super rewarding to collaborate with other creatives to create digital experiences that deeply touch people. It truly has been an amazing time and I know that God is going to use each of us in amazing ways this summer!
