It is genuinely hard to believe that the internship is over this week. I can’t express with words how impactful these last 12 weeks have been. I have grown in ways that I couldn’t have imagined at the start. On the first day I was nervous, unsure of myself, and unsure of my faith. Over the last three months I have been poured into by so many people. I have learned so much about myself. I’ve gained confidence in myself, my abilities, and my identity. I have also learned a lot of God. I came into this internship not knowing what I believed, but I leave confident in Christ. This group of interns has shown me what it means to be a Christ-centered, loving friend group and has helped me grow deeper in my relationship with God and His word. I’m so grateful to Pulse for providing me this opportunity and I am grateful for the Lord and all His blessings he has given me these last 12 weeks. Thank you all for supporting me as I have gone through this journey. I am excited for what new opportunities are to come.

This week was definitely interesting. With the rising Covid cases, we have gone fully online for the duration of the internship which I am super bummed about. I will definitely miss being in person but I am glad we’re doing our best to stay safe. Other than that, there’s not much to update about. As we get closer to the end of this internship, I continue to reflect on all that I’ve learned and how much I have grown in these past ten weeks. I’m really excited to continue to grow in these last few weeks and see all of my peers who have become some of my greatest friends do the same.

This week was so amazing. Tuesday we had Revival Nights where we got to worship together, listen to Nick Hall speak, and perform baptisms. This was the first time I got to hear Nick Hall speak in person, so that was super exciting. I also got baptized which was beyond words amazing. It was such a powerful experience and to do it with people I have grown so close to over the past eight weeks was better than I could have imagined. Every week I get reminded of how wonderful this community is and how much it has helped me grow as a person and in my relationship with Christ.

Nothing super exciting happened this week, but like usual, it was still great. With it being the start of November, we’ve started the month close process so I’ve had a bit more work to do on the finance side which has been fun. I’m really learning a ton and gaining knowledge that will help me for the future. I’m thinking about getting baptized at Revival Nights happening next week so that will be an exciting update to look out for! Thank you for supporting me through this journey and reading these updates as I grow in accounting and in the Lord.

This week was great! On Thursday we had the livestream of October’s Revival Nights. We all got the opportunity to watch it together at the office and be a part of the Echo response team. It was such a blessing to pray over this event as a group and build our relationships during that time together. I am so excited for November Revival Nights, which we’ll be recording next Tuesday. It’s hard to believe we’re already over halfway through! I’m just so grateful for what God is doing through this internship program and so honored to be a part of it.

This week was a lot of the same but great nonetheless. I have been continually learning more and getting comfortable with the accounting processes. With the whole team, we had a great guest speaker whose message was really inspiring. He talked about the things that are standing in the way of achieving our full potential and I took away some amazing lessons from that.

Wow, this week was eventful! We had testimony night this Sunday which was amazing. To get to know my fellow interns on a deeper level was such a blessing. We also had the recording for October’s Revival Nights on Thursday. The night consisted of amazing worship and Mark sharing a great message. On the finance side, I’ve started to get into the groove of things and I’ve really been enjoying it. I’m so happy I get the opportunity to be a part of this internship and I am absolutely loving it.

On the finance side of things this week, I got to learn more about different tax forms and dove more into monthly close processes. It’s been really fun to see the things I’ve been learning in the classroom the past three years actually being put into action in a real life organization. With the whole team, we got to do street evangelism this week. Although this was extremely out of my comfort zone, it really showed me the importance of connection with others and how much can change when we listen to God speak.

This week I was able to actually get started on some of the finance stuff which was super exciting! Now that it’s month end we have more things to do and I have really been enjoying that side of things. I am super excited to get to learn more about the inner workings of how everything comes together to make Pulse happen. I’ve been loving the times that we get as a whole group praying and learning together. I can’t wait for what’s to come next.
